NYFW; Curated Gallery

Hello hello hello!

This has been a long, long time in the making… But Naladovy is finally here. I know it’s a little bit boring – maybe a bit of a cop-out – but I thought I’d put my foot in the door of the blogging sphere with a curated post of my favourite street style looks from New York Fashion Week just passed. I do have an excuse, however, for not being able to be as creative as I hope this blog to become, and it is called The HSC.

The Advanced English exam is on Monday, and many people at my school would argue that I shouldn’t even be starting a blog at the moment, let alone scrolling through some (great!) outfits from the various Fashion Weeks that made up SS15  Fashion Month, but I’m listening to ‘Best Thing You Never Had’ (Thank you, Beyoncé) and I feel as though one day that will be my attitude to the life-sucking forces of final Year 12 exams. (As in, they will never get my mental health nor my sanity.)

Post-HSC I’ll definitely be taking some outfit inspiration from these street style wizards! I think, until I have more time to work on projects for Naladovy, that I will continue along this vein and curate my favourite street style snaps for each of the most recent fashion weeks.

Yes, the majority of shows are out of this world (Comme des Garçons, anyone?!) and I honestly could wear some of their pieces (Celin and Valentino had some most gorgeous pieces), but there’s something about the flash-and-run vibe of street style photography that makes it seem more real, more accessible.
